Weaving the web, one site at a time

AdToll for the popular?

Yes, I know, It sounds un-true, but it is. AdToll has stopped accepting new publisher sites, unless they have an Alexa Rank of 100,000 or less. In other words, out of the millions of websites out there, yours has to be in the top 100,000 and Alexa has to be monitoring your site. I really think this is a bunch of bull crap, due to the fact that I have used AdToll almost since it begun and they have never had a problem with publisher sites with a higher Alexa Rank. With that said, I believe AdToll will lose a lot of its publisher base and eventually just be for people with a lot of money and popular sites. My main attraction to it in the beginning was the cheap prices to advertise and a great way to start having advertisments on your site.

I’ve never been a fan of Ad-Toll anyway, but this is the last straw. There’s loads of better options out there for small websites. I hope AdToll realises what a huge mistake they’re making.
